Houston, Texas – July 1, 2020
The Global Syngas Technologies Council (“GSTC”), an international association made up of companies involved in the technology supply for, and the execution and technical servicing of, syngas production and chemical production from syngas, announced the addition of three new members at its Spring Member’s Meeting this month.
Two of the three new members presented at the Spring Member’s Meeting, held virtually this year. One of these, Plasco Conversion Technologies (“Plasco”) discussed their plans to enable the global deployment of their proprietary waste conversion technology. All of its members may be found on the GSTC website, globalsyngas.org.
“The GSTC is excited to add three new members” said William E. Preston, Executive Director of the GSTC. “These new members in particular, one an oil and gas company, one a chemicals company, and the third a waste conversion company, illustrate the diversity of the syngas industry and of our Council.”
The GSTC is scheduled to hold its annual Syngas Technologies Conference beginning in late October. The conference will highlight advances in technologies available for syngas and hydrogen production, as well as advances in the technologies that use syngas and hydrogen to produce valuable products. The conference will also feature updates on global projects and important trends in the industry.
Plasco’s technology and proven equipment converts solid waste into a clean fuel gas tailored to end use, and clean saleable slag. The net recovery of energy in the waste processed is approximately 75%. The conversion of waste into the clean fuel gas is done without emitting any emissions to atmosphere, and with complete diversion from landfill. The robust design can handle municipal solid waste, commercial and industrial wastes and hazardous waste streams. For more information, visit http://plascotechnologies.com.
The mission of the GSTC is to provide access to the latest technological developments, industry updates and networking with leaders in the syngas industry, with the goal of creating new and innovative business development opportunities, and rich industry relationships.
